Hi friend, One of the things I notice most in the people I work with is how often they say, "I don't know." Sure, sometime's that's true. But honestly, most of the time, it isn't. You probably say "I don't know," when you're actually waiting for someone to tell you it's okay, because you don't trust yourself enough to act without everyone else's approval. We spend so much time waiting for people to understand us before we let ourselves move forward. We want our family to get it. Our friends to support it. Our coworkers to agree with it. We want reassurance that we're making the "right" choice. But confidence doesn't come from unanimous approval. It comes from recognizing that you don't have to earn permission to be yourself. This week, I want to encourage you to pay attention to where you're waiting for approval. Then, give it to yourself! Coach Jose 💛

But I want to remind you that the decision doesn't have to be black or white. Because you're a complicated human. It's normal to be tired and still want to see your friends. You can stay home and...
Hi friend, If you're one of those people who feels like you always have to be doing something, we might have a problem. However, I don't want you to swing the complete opposite direction. Don't do nothing! Instead, give yourself a little bit more room before your automatic habit to be productive takes over. Here are the two questions you can ask yourself when you have the urge to be productive for productivity's sake: What happens if I don't do the thing? What am I working toward? Take a...
Hi friend, Here's some hard truth: Sometimes we mess up, and sometimes other peoples' feedback about us is right. We were late. We got defensive. We weren't listening. We hurt someone else. We need to own these mistakes. But, at the same time, be careful not to let, "I fucked up," become, "I'm a fuck up." ...becuase you're not!Talking about 1) what happened and 2) who you are are very different things. You can fuck something up, take responsibility for it, apologize, learn something, and still...
