Hi friend, This week, I want to encourage you to make a move. For us awkward folks, that can be hard. Too often, we want to feel certain about our next step before we take it. We want to have the right words completely formulated in our minds before we speak. We want to know the answer before we ask. We want to know how things will turn out before we decide. But most of the time, none of those things are realistic. We have to take the step first. We have to deal with the uncertainty. I want to know what brave next step you'll be taking this week. And I want you to feel welcome here if you're trying to spend less time reaching, overthinking, or talking yourself out of things. We're all a work in progress. Coach Jose 💛

Hi friend, If you're one of those people who feels like you always have to be doing something, we might have a problem. However, I don't want you to swing the complete opposite direction. Don't do nothing! Instead, give yourself a little bit more room before your automatic habit to be productive takes over. Here are the two questions you can ask yourself when you have the urge to be productive for productivity's sake: What happens if I don't do the thing? What am I working toward? Take a...
Hi friend, Here's some hard truth: Sometimes we mess up, and sometimes other peoples' feedback about us is right. We were late. We got defensive. We weren't listening. We hurt someone else. We need to own these mistakes. But, at the same time, be careful not to let, "I fucked up," become, "I'm a fuck up." ...becuase you're not!Talking about 1) what happened and 2) who you are are very different things. You can fuck something up, take responsibility for it, apologize, learn something, and still...
